Motorcyclist dies after collision in Oshawa

OSHAWA, Ont. – A motorcyclist has died following a two-vehicle collision in Oshawa.

Durham Regional Police say his motorcycle and a car crashed at Adelaide Avenue and Harmony Road around 2:15 p.m., Wednesday.

The victim, a 31-year-old male, was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A 50-year-old man was the driver of the other vehicle. He was treated for minor injuries.

The province’s Special Investigations Unit is looking into the collision. Durham Police say they were conducting radar in the area at the time of the crash.

No charges have been laid.
