Conservatives maintaining lead, poll shows

The resumption of parliament and the tabling of a federal budget hasn’t changed Canadians minds about federal political parties.
A new Ekos poll for the CBC showed the Conservatives maintained the 2.3 per cent lead over the Liberals they have enjoyed for the past five weeks.
The Conservatives have the backing of 32 per cent, the Liberals are at 30 per cent and the New Democrats are at 16 per cent.
The survey also found Canadians are evenly split when asked whether the government was moving in the right direction.
