All-clear given after pepper spray incident at North York School

TORONTO, Ont. – Police and firefighters have given the all-clear after pepper spray was released in a hallway Tuesday morning at a North York high school.
Toronto police told 680News the incident happened at Westview Centennial Secondary School on Oakdale Rd., near Jane St. and Finch Ave. West, just before 10:30 a.m.
Toronto District School Board officials said classes resumed after the lunch hour.
Toronto EMS took two students to hospital as a precaution after they complained of trouble breathing.
Eight other patients were treated at the scene for minor eye irritation.
