Registration for City of Toronto’s spring aquatic programs gets underway Saturday

TORONTO – There will soon be a lot of splishing and splashing at pools across Toronto as a new round of city-run swimming lessons gets underway.
Registration for the very popular spring aquatic programs starts Saturday.
Debra Smith, from the City of Toronto, said when registration opens depends on where a person lives. The registration dates are:
*Etobicoke-York — Saturday, March 6
*Scarborough — Sunday, March 7
*North York — Tuesday, March 9
*Toronto-East York — Wednesday, March 10
People can register for the classes by telephone or online, but a family registration number is needed.
For those who don’t have a registration number, they can mail in the paper work or drop off their registration at the city’s parks and recreation desk at City Hall or any civic centre.
