Woman in grave condition after being struck by bus in Hamilton Wednesday night

HAMILTON, Ont. – A woman is in grave condition in hospital after being struck by a bus as she crossed a street in downtown Hamilton.
Police said the woman was hit when the Hamilton Street Railway bus was making a turn from King Street onto James Street South just after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said the woman, who is believed to be in her 60s, suffered serious head injuries.
Her name has not been released and there’s no word on whether charges will be laid.
The bus was on the scene until 2 a.m. as police investigated.
