Police have made an arrest in connection with a fire set outside Conservative MP Bob Dechert’s office in Mississauga.
Peel police say Mikhail Kavkane was picked up at Pearson International Airport early Saturday morning.
Constable J.P. Valade tells Global News that the 42-year-old was captured upon returning to Canada after leaving the country.
Last week’s blaze caused an estimated $5 million worth of damage.
There were no serious injuries.
