Four young offenders charged after attempted armed robbery

Police have charged four young offenders, after an armed robbery in the city’s east end.
Investigators said three of the suspects, one armed with a gun, attempted to rob a 20-year-old man near Coxwell Avenue and Gerrard Street East, Tuesday afternoon.
The suspects then ran into a nearby apartment building, where they were later arrested.
When police obtained a search warrant, and went through the apartment a .38 calibre revolver was recovered.
Three 16-year-olds, and a 17-year-old are facing multiple weapons charges as well as possession of marijuana.
