York Regional Police search for hit and run driver

York Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a hit and run driver who left a snowmobile rider with serious injuries.

Police say the 24-year-old man was driving his snow machine, Saturday, around 7 p.m. when he fell off on Woodbine Avenue near Ravenshore Road in Georgina.

As he was laying on the road, a white or silver Ford F-150 pick-up truck hit the man, but did not stop.

The victim suffered serious injuries to both his legs and remains in hospital.

Police are urging the driver or anyone with information about the crash to contact them.
