Lawyers for Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie say they will not split

A London law firm says Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are suing British tabloid, News of the World, after the paper reported the couple was splitting up.

The firm representing Brad and Angie says the report involved ‘false and intrusive allegations.’ They also say the tabloid failed to meet a demand for a retraction and apology.

Meantime, while many magazines jumped on the break-up story, Hello! Canada maintained all along the rumours were false.

The magazine’s editor-in-chief, Ciara Hunt, told 680News how they stayed on top of the story.

“We really go to the sources – who know them, who have spoken to them, who have spent time with them – and that’s what we did with this. We spoke to all those people who know exactly what’s going on behind closed doors,” Hunt explained.

Brangelina were seen very much together at Sunday’s Super Bowl with their eight-year-old son, Maddox.
