Trial begins today in death of Jordan Manners

The trial of two young men accused in the shooting death of 15-year-old Jordan Manners in the hallway of C.W. Jeffreys Collegiate Institute is expected to begin Wednesday.

Both 20 year olds — who were 17 at the time of the shooting — face first-degree murder charges, and have pleaded not guilty.

It’s alleged the two forcibly confined, robbed and then killed Manners in May of 2007.

The two accused cannot be identified because they were minors at the time.

Both men are former friends of Manners.

The trial is expected to last a month.
