Traffic related death toll reaches eleven so far this year in the GTA

Not even a month into this year, eleven have already died in traffic.
Toronto Police Sergeant Tim Burrows says it appears both the driver and the victim of yesterday’s death at Broadview and Danforth had a green light.
In that case however, the pedestrian would have the right of way.
A 57-year-old man on crutches was killed after being struck by a dump truck
Sergeant Burrow says it’s too soon to say if charges will be laid and they’re still talking with witnesses.
