Jury selection begins today in death of Jordan Manners

Jury selection begins, Friday, for two teens accused in the shooting death of Jordan Manners at C.W. Jeffreys Collegiate Institute in May 2007.

The two accused cannot be identified because they were minors when Manners was shot and killed.

The Crown expects the trial to last at least two months.

As many as 40 witnesses are expected to testify, including several students who saw the bloodshed.

A pool of more than 1,000 potential jurors has been brought in for the trial.

Both suspects have pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder.
