Car hits apartment in Oakville; man in bedroom injured

A car being driven by an 87-year-old woman leaving a hospital parking lot in Oakville, mounted a curb and smashed into an apartment across the street, injuring a man in the bedroom.
Halton Regional Police said he was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
The driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but police said she is ok.
Police said a two-year-old child and 58-year-old woman who were in the apartment are fine.
The cause of the accident has not been determined.
Gas and hydro to the building were shut off.
