TThe restrictions for carry-on bags on airplanes has been lifted by Transport Canada at Canadian airports for flights to the U.S.
Starting Wednesday, travellers heading to the U.S. will be allowed to bring a carry-on bag on the flight.
Transport Canada said travellers can also bring a purse, briefcase or laptop on the aircraft as well.
All items taken onto the plane, including books, electronics and medications, etc., should have to be stored in your carry-on before going through the security check.
