Third annual no pants subway ride takes place today

The 3rd annual No Pants subway ride will take to the rails at 3 o’clock this afternoon.

Organizers from ‘Improv In Toronto’ are asking those who want to participate to board trains at Museum station, enter the train as if nothing is happening, and sit as one normally would but as soon as the doors close, to stand up and take off their pants.

The participants, there were around 300 last year, wear underwear and are cautioned to keep the shorts tasteful and comfortable.

Improv In Toronto is also asking those going pant-less to tell fellow riders that they simply forgot their pants if asked why they striped down , and to insist that it is a coincidence that others also forgot their pants as well.

An organizer tells the Toronto Sun that the event isn’t just about dropping dungarees, it’s about having fun and putting some unexpected laughs into the otherwise mundane transit system.
