Man slain in Mississauga is Peel region 21st homicide of year

A post-mortem will be performed Monday on the body of Peel Region’s 21st homicide of the year.
Police were called to a shopping plaza early Sunday in the Malton area and a 38-year-old man suffering an undisclosed injury.
Richard Egan Stewart of Mississauga was taken to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made.
Detectives are seeking anyone who knows the victim or had recently seen him.
