Tiger Woods’ wife to file for divorce: reports

As reports circulate that the wife of pro-golfer Tiger Woods, Elin Nordegren, will file for divorce, Woods’ high school sweetheart speaks out saying his father, Earl, was also a cheater.
The former Swedish model will likely file for divorce in the new year.
A source told People Magazine Nordegren “has made up her mind.” She’s apparently already hired celebrity divorce lawyer Sorrell Trope.
Trope has also handled the divorces of Britney Spears, Cary Grant and Nicolas Cage.
Nordegren is said to be filing for the divorce in a California court because the state has no fault divorce, which means an equal split of assets.
Last week, Woods said he would be taking an “indefinite leave” from golf to try to repair his relationship with his wife and children.
And now, Woods’ high school sweetheart said that when the golfer was a teenager he was devastated to learn about his father’s transgressions.
Dina Parr told E! News that she remembers Woods calling her crying and said, “my dad is with another woman.”
Woods was extremely close to his father, Earl, who died in 2006.
The golfer has since been linked to more than a dozen women, and the latest may be pop star Jessica Simpson.
US Magazine reported the two met last July. She and NFL quarterback Tony Romo split up eight days later, but the singer denies an affair.
