Michelin launches online winter driving school

Winter driving school can cost hundreds of dollars, but now people can brush up on their winter driving skills for free, without leaving the comfort of home.
On Thursday, Michelin launched their Winter Driving Academy, an online site that offers tips for winter driving.
Drivers can get safety information on the site, as well as view driving videos and animated demonstrations that explain how to react when faced with hazardous conditions.
Winter driving expert Richard Shénard, who is working with Michelin on this project, told 680News that one of the most common mistakes drivers make in winter is that they don’t adjust their speed according to the road conditions.
