Border guards find almost 50 kilograms of cocaine in truck at Sarnia

Border guards at the Blue Water Bridge in Sarnia, Ont. have seized almost 50 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a tractor-trailer.
Border officers stopped a tractor-trailer trying to enter Canada on December 4, with a load of electronics.
The drugs were found in two boxes.
A 26-year-old Brampton man was arrested and charged with importing a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The bust was the only major one involving cocaine at the Blue Water Bridge this year.
In July, officers arrested a Mississauga man after 115 kilograms of marijuana and hashish were seized at the Blue Water Bridge.
