CALGARY - Martin Havlat scored at 3:15 of overtime to lead the Minnesota Wild to a 2-1 win over the Calgary Flames on Friday night.

TORONTO - Joe Johnson scored 20 points and had five assists as the Atlanta Hawks dominated the Toronto Raptors for the second time this season, 111-89 at Air Canada Centre on Friday night.

Jamal Crawford and Maurice Evans each had 15 points and Zaza Pachulia had 14 for Atlanta before an ACC crowd of 17,032.

Tiger Woods said Friday he is taking an indefinite leave from golf to try to save his marriage, the biggest fallout yet from two shocking weeks filled with allegations of rampant extramarital affairs.

"I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person," Woods said on his website.

COOLUM, Australia - Craig Parry was just finishing his third round at the Australian PGA on Saturday when he heard about Tiger Woods' decision to take an indefinite break from golf.

MONTREAL - Jean Pascal overcame an apparent shoulder injury to defeat Adrian Diaconu by unanimous decision for a second straight time Friday night to retain his World Boxing Council light-heavyweight title.

Pascal won decisively on each of the judges scorecards in what appeared to be a much closer bout. Richard Flaherty of Connecticut gave it to Pascal 118-110, while both New York's Julie Lederman and Montreal's Claude Paquette scored it 117-111. The Canadian Press scored the fight a draw, 114-114.

EDMONTON - With 68 years of curling experience between them, there likely won't be any surprises Saturday when Glenn Howard and Jeff Stoughton meet in the semifinal of the Canadian Olympic curling trials.

Howard, with 37 years of experience and Stoughton with 31, have five Brier championships and four world titles between them.

SUOMU, Finland - Kristi Richards opened the moguls World Cup season with a gold medal Friday while fellow Canadian Alexandre Bilodeau took bronze in the men's event.
