Officials in UK ban inflatable swimming pools
LONDON, England - Officials in a town northeast of London, England, have banned inflatable swimming pools, labelling them as a fire risk.
According to the Daily Mail, a housing association in the suburb of Romford is claiming the pools get in the way of fire trucks.
But firefighters in the town said the ban is "ridiculous," and that a pool would be useful if there was a fire.
One resident said she has "gone mad."
Children are already not allowed to skate outside, play ball games and now they are not allowed to swim in inflatable pools, said the resident.
