The latest in a series of minor earthquakes in northeast Ohio hit this afternoon, sending some stunned residents running for cover as bookshelves shook and pictures and lamps fell from tables.
The shaking was felt in Toronto. 680News received multiple phone calls from some GTA listeners who said they felt an earthquake.
The U.S. Geological Survey said there was a tremor in Youngstown, Ohio shortly after 3 p.m. on Saturday, which registered a 4.0 on the Richter scale.
Northeastern Ohio has experienced at least 10 minor quakes in 2011, which generally had a magnitude of 2.7 or lower.
Saturday's temblor appeared to be stronger than others.
