Lawlessness growing in Haiti

The airport in Port-au-Prince airport is being described as a paralyzed and chaotic.

On the streets of Port-au-Prince, bodies are piled up and the smell is overpowering in the heat.

Bulldozers being used to clear the dead.

A Time magazine reporter said some are using the bodies to set up roadblocks as people get even more fed up with getting no help.

Anger is rising and aid workers are worried about their safety, warning they may need more security Friday as they attempt to distribute food, water and other supplies.

The Brazilian military suggests aid convoys add security to protect against looting.

The capital is now a lawless place - -quickly falling victim to gangs of armed looters. gunshots could be heard during the night.

The International Red Cross believes as many as 50,000 people were killed in the massive earthquake.
