A fight between two female prisoners forces a lock down at B.C. prison

ABBOTSFORD, B.C. - The Fraser Valley prison for women is in lock down after an altercation between two women.

Canada Correctional Service says both women were hurt and were taken to hospital by ambulance. The injuries aren't considered life threatening.

Abbotsford police have been called in to conduct an investigation.

The correctional service says the facility, which houses 55 federally-sentenced females, will remain in a modified routine all weekend.
