Hockey star Lemieux, former PM Kim Campbell to receive Order of Canada on Friday

OTTAWA, Ont. - Retired hockey star Mario Lemieux and former Prime Minister Kim Campbell along with 51 others are receiving the Order of Canada on Friday.
The formal ceremony takes place at Rideau Hall, the home of the Governor General.
Campbell will become a Companion of the Order, which is its highest grade, while Lemieux is being invested as an Officer, the second highest grade.
Others receiving the Order include Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman, rocker Burton Cummings, former Manitoba Premier Gary Filmon, former Nova Scotia Premier John Hamm and Federal NDP leader from 1995 to 2003 Alexa McDonough.
Operatic tenor Ben Heppner, actress Tantoo Cardinal and Montreal Canadians president Pierre Boivin will also be invested.
