One of two million dollar winning Lotto-64 tickets bought in the London area

The Canadian Press Mar 21, 2010 10:26:21 AM
Ontario has one new millionaire, as half of the $41 million jackpot for yesterday evening’s LOTTO 6/49 draw was won by a ticket purchased in or around the London, Ontario area.
“While we can’t tell whether it is a single player or a group that has won at this time, we do know that the ticket was bought in the London area, so if you live in that region we suggest you check your ticket,” said Sarah Kiriliuk, Media Relations Manager at Ontario Lottery and Gaming. “If you do think you hold the winning ticket, you can check the official numbers on OLG.ca or go into a retailer and use the self-scanner for ticket validation.”

Ontarians who don’t have a winning ticket for this draw, still have another chance to win big. The LOTTO MAX jackpot for $10 million was not won in Friday evening’s draw, which means the jackpot has rolled over to a larger amount. The next draw on Friday, March 26 will be for an estimated $15,000,000.
