Bamoseda, hosted by Jennifer Ashawasegai, is an Aboriginal news magazine radio program, which features national Aboriginal news, current affairs, features on community and culture, spotlights on entertainment and a cross section of musical genres from very talented artists in the Aboriginal community.

It's been just over three weeks since the Human Rights Act has kicked in for First Nation citizens living on reserve.

The Walk 4 Justice is in its fourth and final event. They are raising awareness for missing and murdered Aboriginal women and calling for a National Public Inquiry into the issue.

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission has recently wrapped up its Northern event. The second national event was held in Manitoba.

The National Congress of American Indians is pleased with its joint statement to work with First Nations in Canada to collaborate on energy and mining initiatives in North America.

Maoli people in Hawaii now have state recognition as the only Indigenous people of Hawaii. It's the first step towards federal recognition.
