Assembly of First Nations Nation Chief Shawn Atleo gives an AFN update on water and education issues.

A couple of stories on diabetes: in northwestern Ontario, the Nishnawbe Aski Nation along with it's partners are delivering organic meat and fresh food to its most northern communities. Plus Researchers in the James Bay area are studying the combination of traditional medicine and science in the fight against Type 2 diabetes in Cree territory.

The Carrier Sekani Tribal Council have vowed not to move in their opposition to the Enbridge Northern Gateway pipeline project.
