Police investigate fatal skydiving accident in Quebec

MONTREAL, Q.C. - Police and workplace safety officials are continuing to investigate a fatal skydiving accident which took place 60 kilometres east of Montreal.
A 34 year old cameraman at a skydiving school plunged to his death while taking photos of other jumpers in Farnham, Quebec.
Police said his parachute had opened, but he continued to fall at high speed, and hit the ground extremely hard. He was immediately pronounced dead.
The victim, whose name has yet to be released, was an experienced skydiver.
