TORONTO, Ont. - The CNE Air Show on the Toronto Lakeshore is scheduled to go on as planned, Sunday.

Coleen Swider, Manager of Public Affairs and Media Relations for the Canadian International Air Show, told 680News a meeting will be held, Sunday morning, with those participating.

"As of right now we are at full go, and based on all the weather conditions I've seen this morning, including the ones at Pearson, we're a go!"

Strong winds, Saturday, cancelled the show. Swider said the high wind speeds caused choppy waves in Lake Ontario, which would result in the Toronto Marine Unit not being able to respond in a timely manner in case of an incident.

The air show is scheduled to also take place Monday; however, Swider adds the ability to put on the show is assessed daily, depending on the weather.
