Police search for six-year-old girl allegedly abducted by her mother

TORONTO, Ont. - Toronto police are trying to locate a little girl who was allegedly abducted by her mother.

Police claim six-year-old Pearl Rose Gavaghan Da Massa was taken from England two years ago by her mother, Helen Gavaghan.

Police said the two came to Toronto with the mother living under the name "Dana Flaherty," and her daughter going by the name, "Belle."

They had been staying in the Parkdale area, and police believe they are still in the city.
