At the Pearson Airport Weather office the clocked in at 50 kilometres an hour with gusts up to 76 on March 13th. 680's Meteorologist Jill Taylor says it's not quite strong enough for wind warnings to be issued, but it is going to stay gusty tonight and tomorrow.
"The impact for us is that it is more of a prolonged event. The wind started to pick up Friday and will stay with us right through the weekend" she says.
No reports so far of any damage but its a good idea to stay alert for any debris blowing around, especially in the wind tunnels on downtown streets.
