Police investigate two separate stabbings in city

TORONTO, Ont. - Toronto police are in the midst of investigating two separate stabbings around the city.
One man suffered non life-threatening injuries after being stabbed several times in the west end, in the Riverwood Parkway area.
That stabbing happened around 5 a.m. Saturday morning, in the general area of Bloor Street and Prince Edward Drive.
Meanwhile, another man was taken to hospital after a stabbing in Scarborough.
Police tell 680News it happened around 6 a.m. near Eglinton Avenue and Gilder Drive.
The victim was discovered in a restaurant suffering from non life-threatening injuries.
Police are searching for suspects in both incidents but have not released any motive or descriptions.
