VAUGHAN, Ont. - A portion of Highway 50 in Vaughan has been closed due to a tractor-trailer fire, Thursday.

Police said the tractor-trailer hit a guardrail and caught fire, and there's still a diesel spill to clean-up.

The southbound lanes of the highway are closed from Nashville to Rutherford roads and the northbound lanes are shut down from Rutherford Road to Major Mackenzie Drive.

The closure is expected to last four to six hours.
