TORONTO, Ont. - It seems there is a new Ontario election poll every day, and depending on which one you're paying attention to, the results have been varying.
One pollster is now questioning the validity of some of them. Ipsos Reid said some of them are are distorting democracy and confusing voters.
It said over the past few days, Ontarians have been a number of polls on the Ontario election that have very different results on who is ahead.
The polling company said that's because not all polls are created equally, and that more needs to be done to make sure polls are unbiased and truly scientific public opinion.
So are you paying attention to the polls? 680News took to the streets to find out.
"Depending on who is doing the polls, that always helps, but polls, I don't know, it depends on who votes. People come out, then they come out," one man named James told 680News.
Doug said he does pay close attention to the polls, but added, "no it won't affect how I vote, but it will affect my emotions about the election."
