A Cambridge man has taken legal action against his employer after his arm was partially amputated while at work.
The Waterloo Textiles employee is seeking $75,000 stating the company failed to properly protect its employees from the moving parts of the machine used to create yarn.
The worker was attempting to remove fibres from the machine before his arm was caught by the exposed machine.
Waterloo Textiles pled guilty two years ago for violating the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
