Police looking for hit-and-run driver in Georgina

York Regional Police need the public's help to track down a hit-and-run driver who left a snowmobile rider with serious injuries.

According to investigators, a 24-year-old man was driving his snow machine on Saturday at around 7 p.m. when he fell off on Woodbine Ave., near Ravenshore Rd. in Georgina. As he lay on the road a white or silver Ford F-150 pick-up truck hit him and did not stop.

The victim suffered serious injuries to both his legs and remains in serious condition in hospital.
