TORONTO - Nearly 100 Torontonians are coming home for the weekend to attend the second annual Toronto Homecoming.
"It's a chance for people who want to come back to Toronto but are looking for that opportunity to meet companies and organizations that may be looking for talented individuals," Toronto Homecoming co-chair Andrew Graham told 680News. "It's a chance for those two groups to connect."
Although only 40 people took part in the event last year, Graham said that over 200 expatriates have expressed interest this time around, meaning there's a growing number of people out there looking to return to the Big Smoke.
"There are many people who have left the city ... and who have gone abroad and taken top jobs or gone to excellent universities and now want to come back and share what they've learned with companies in Toronto," he said.
The four-day networking event opens this Thursday and goes on until Sunday. For more information, click
