Police investigate shooting, victim released from hospital

TORONTO, Ont. - A young man shot in the shoulder Wednesday night has been released from hospital.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Ambulance crews told 680News they were flagged down on Bayview Avenue north of Eglinton Avenue around 8 p.m. by someone saying a man had been shot in their car.
Police believe the shooting occurred at a different location, perhaps near Eglinton Avenue and the Don Valley Parkway.
The occupants of the car were trying to drive the victim to hospital when they spotted the ambulance.
