Don't feel bad if you don't plan on making a New Year's resolution this year.
A British study found that most people do not stick to their new resolutions for more than a week.
The study showed that 37 per cent of men and 30 per cent of women gave up after an average seven days.
Researchers said people who shared their plans with family and friends were more successful than those who kept their resolutions to themselves.
It also helped to visualize a better life once you've achieved your goals.
Losing weight, saving money and being happy are the most popular New Years resolutions.
