Toronto woman raises over $15,000 for GTA's military families

680News staff Dec 24, 2009 08:08:20 AM
One Toronto woman has raised more than $15,000 for military families in the GTA by selling a specially-designed watch.

Robin Devine, president of the watchmaking company, Time is Ticking, designed the watch to honour the soldiers of the Canadian mission in Afghanistan.

The Toronto Police Association and the Toronto and Mississauga firefighters associations have stepped in to foot the bill to ensure each grieving family will receive one of the commemorative watches.
