Two-alarm fire destroys part of a Scarborough housing development
TORONTO - Over a dozen fire trucks respond to overnight fire in Scarborough.
It took about 17 fire trucks just over an hour to put out the fire at Warden Avenue and Burnhill Road.
Officials said three or four framed houses had been destroyed.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene around 4:20 a.m. after a passing cab driver spotted the flames and called 911.
Police said no one was hurt and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
