Body found after weekend blaze
TORONTO - Toronto police told 680News, Tuesday, the body of a female has been found in a burned out building on Bathurst street near Dupont.
Investigators say it may be the body of Mary Speck, 50, a resident of the building who is said to have alerted other people in the apartment building about the weekend fire.
Speck has not been seen since Saturday morning.
The four alarm fire started early Saturday morning and gutted the apartment building at 1079 Bathurst Street.
Police have not confirmed the identity of the body.
