Boats capsize on lake in Port Credit, no injuries
Mississauga - There were some frightening minutes for some young boaters in south Mississauga, Friday, when their boats capsized on Lake Ontario.
Peel Regional Police told 680News a group of children were out in boats on Lake Ontario by the Port Credit Yacht Club.
But, the wind and rough waters caused some of the boats to capsize, sending the children into the water.
Police said the yacht club staff jumped into action and went out and pulled the children out of the water.
All are now safe.
