Japanese royals in Toronto
Toronto - Japan's Emperor Akihito and his wife, Empress Michiko, have arrived in Toronto.
During the royal couple's visit, they will be staying at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel.
The Emperor is slated to make a stop at the Hospital for Sick Children, Thursday, before meeting with the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, David Onley, at Queen's Park.
The couple will also meet with members of the Japanese-Canadian community at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre.
The Royals leave on Friday for Vancouver.
