Tory may run for mayor of Toronto
Toronto - Some have called him unelectable candidate.
But the former Leader of Ontario's Conservative party John Tory may take a run at Mayor David Miller's job in the next election.
Tory told 680News underground support is growing.
"They've been encouraging me to think about it and encouraging me to run," he said.
While the three-election loser is still talking to his family about possibly throwing his hat in the ring, he said it's not his top priority.
But would Tory get elected?
"I think he'd be a great leader, but he'd have to be better than Miller," one Torontonian at Yonge and Bloor said on Tuesday afternoon.
Tory was inches away from beating Miller in 2003, and said in the years since, Toronto hasn't been getting enough bang for its buck.
