There's been mixed reaction on the Crown First Nations Gathering which was held earlier this week. Some have called the gathering 'historic', and have come away optimistic about talks.
A few Chiefs left the meeting early, disgruntled their issues about treaty were not addressed.
People outside the gathering held 'Honour our Treaty' signs... and one demonstrator felt that talks were being held with the wrong person, and shouldn't been held with the Prime Minister at all.
