Judy Freedman graduated from Seneca College in June 2007 where she earned her
broadcast journalism diploma with honours. Throughout the next few months, she
eagerly applied to many Toronto-area radio and television stations.
During the summer, an internship opportunity at CHFI became available and
Judy happily accepted. She was so excited to be working at a radio station so
near to her home and family. A few weeks after beginning her internship, she had
the good fortune of being introduced to the news director of 680News (Scott
Metcalfe) and other members of the 680News team.
After a meeting and a few phone calls, Judy was offered a position as
part-time traffic reporter and audio editor at 680News and has been a proud
member of the number one news radio station in the country since August
2007.
In her free time, Judy enjoys watching anything sports related, playing poker
in a weekly tournament, and relaxing with a good book and a glass of wine.
