She feels lucky to be able to hear people's stories first hand and then share the information with others.

Irene earned her Bachelor's Degree from Carleton University in Ottawa and went on to complete the radio and television broadcasting program at Seneca College with high honours.

When she's not working Irene loves to travel, having visited almost every continent with plans to visit many more parts of the world.

She also loves to read and is an avid runner, completing several half marathons and a marathon.
