Whether writing, anchoring or reporting, Catherine loves every aspect of working in news. She made the jump to 680News after spending four years down the dial at AM 640 Toronto Radio, and a year in the national newsroom of The Canadian Press.

Catherine was born in northern Quebec and learned to speak English at the age of eight when her family moved to a suburb of Vancouver. The family later relocated to the Kitchener area, where she attended high school and eventually college. She moved to Toronto in 2003 after graduating from Conestoga College, and now lives in the city's east end with her husband and two cats.
